What Buzz is

Buzz is a CRM for solo operators and small teams that turns plain-English commands into structured actions: contacts, bookings, reminders, payments, notes, activity logs, and a sales pipeline (deals) with per-deal activity timelines, file attachments, and linked payments. Pro users also get a public booking page their clients can use, a booking-request inbox with push notifications, recurring auto-billed payment links, no-show automation, and revenue reports. Team users add up to three staff seats with per-role permissions, per-staff service menus and schedules, and a shared calendar. You type or dictate; Buzz parses and executes.

Your account

Subscription & payments

Buzz offers paid plans (Starter, Pro, Team) and one-time command packs. Plans renew monthly until cancelled. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you keep the plan's features until then. Team plans bill per seat; adding or removing a teammate prorates against the current period.

Stripe Connect (Pro)

Pro subscribers can issue payment links to their own clients via Stripe Connect. When a client pays, Buzz takes a small platform fee on top of Stripe's standard processing fees; the rest is paid directly to your connected Stripe account. The full agreement between you and your clients (services, refunds, disputes) is between you and them — Buzz is not a party.

Your data, your data

Contacts, bookings, reminders, payments, deals, services, notes, templates, branding images, and files you attach to deals belong to you. You can export or delete them at any time.

On the Team plan, the workspace owner controls workspace data; invited staff have role-scoped access defined by the owner. Removing a staff member revokes their access but doesn't delete their past activity in the audit log.

What happens when an owner downgrades from Team. Staff seats are a Team-tier feature. When an owner cancels Team or downgrades below it, existing staff memberships enter a 14-day suspended state — staff lose write access but data stays intact. If the owner re-subscribes within 14 days, seats reactivate. After 14 days, seats are revoked; the audit-log history of past activity is preserved.

You grant Buzz a limited license to store, display, and process your data only for the purpose of running the service for you. We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to train AI models.

File attachments on deals

Pro subscribers can attach files (contracts, photos, quotes, PDFs, etc.) to individual deals. Each file is limited to 25 MB, with up to 20 files per deal. You're responsible for what you upload — don't upload anything you don't have the right to store, and don't upload anyone else's data without their consent. We may remove files that violate these terms or applicable law.

Push notifications

Pro subscribers can receive push notifications on their devices for booking requests and other workspace events. Notifications are opt-in by default; you can turn them off in Settings → Notifications. We use Firebase Cloud Messaging / Expo Push Service to deliver them — the message body may include the client's name and the service requested.

The parser

Buzz uses Anthropic's Claude API to convert your commands into structured actions. The parsed output is what gets executed; we log it and the original text in your account's audit log so you can review what happened. See the Privacy Policy for what's sent to Anthropic and for how long we retain it.

Parser output isn't always perfect. Always review what Buzz is about to do (the confirm step on each command) before it runs. Buzz isn't liable for actions you confirmed.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Service availability

We work to keep Buzz running but make no uptime guarantee. Outages, maintenance windows, and dependency failures (Anthropic, Stripe, Firebase, Resend, etc.) can interrupt service. We'll communicate meaningful disruptions in-app or by email.

Liability

Buzz is provided "as is." To the fullest extent allowed by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Some jurisdictions don't allow these limits; in those cases the broadest applicable disclaimer applies.

Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms over time. Material changes will be announced with at least 14 days' notice in-app or by email. Continuing to use Buzz after a change means you accept the new version.
